STATION Austin Renews 59,065-Square-Foot Lease at Austin Centre, Anchoring Non-Profit Downtown on Long-Term Basis

· Published by STATION Austin

(June 6, 2026 – AUSTIN) — Sidra Austin, LLC and STATION Austin today announced that STATION Austin — a Capital Factory–launched non-profit organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs outside of Silicon Valley — has renewed its 59,065-square-foot lease at Austin Centre, the Class A office tower at 701 Brazos in Downtown Austin. The renewal stands as one of the largest office lease transactions in Downtown Austin this year and cements STATION Austin's long-term commitment to the city.

Austin Centre is a 327,619-square-foot tower positioned at the heart of the Texas capital, surrounded by the Texas Capitol, the University of Texas at Austin, and dozens of dining and entertainment destinations within walking distance. STATION Austin occupies the space in its own name and carries forward the flagship programs that have defined Capital Factory for nearly two decades — including Fed Supernova, Health Supernova, Austin Tech Week, and CF House at SXSW. The organization also houses the 23,000-square-foot Center for Dual-Use Innovation, which co-locates the Army Applications Lab, AFWERX, the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), and more than a dozen other services under one roof. Memberships begin at $250 per month.

"Austin Centre has been the perfect home for the Capital Factory community, and we are excited to see STATION Austin continue that tenure here as it grows into a non-profit serving entrepreneurs across the country," said David Barry, President of Sidra. "It is exciting to see one of the largest leases in Downtown Austin this year take place at our building."

Brad Philps of Stream Realty Partners represented Sidra in the renewal negotiation. In July 2025, Sidra selected Transwestern as Austin Centre's exclusive office leasing agent and property management provider, signaling a renewed focus on positioning the building for long-term success. Transwestern's involvement reflects broader momentum at the property as it continues to attract anchor tenants with deep community ties.

Austin Centre's amenity package aligns naturally with the community-oriented environment STATION Austin brings to the building. Tenants and members have access to a rooftop pool and bar, a state-of-the-art fitness center with spa-style locker rooms, a private tenant lounge with conference and breakout spaces, valet and suite services, and a full-service lobby restaurant led by acclaimed chef Patrick Lenhardt.

Launched by Capital Factory in March 2026, STATION Austin is a non-profit built to expand access for entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and scale their companies — connecting founders outside Silicon Valley to community, mentorship, events, and partnerships. The organization carries forward Capital Factory's long history of backing first-time founders and operates across a national footprint that includes Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Bentonville, and Washington, D.C.
